Michelle always puts on a smile no matter the occasion and is often heard giggling in the showroom. She has always drooled over homes with beautiful interior designs. Upon joining the kitchen cabinetry industry over four years ago, Michelle realised her passion lies in providing customers with their dream kitchen which is also practical. In her free time, Michelle also designs terrariums, enjoys travelling and watercolor painting. One of her clients, Abbe Cherry said “I’m pretty fussy and Michelle from Moda was very patient and made changes before I was happy with my perfect kitchen.”

Mel

Designer

Mel believes that every perfect solution starts with a great partnership with her clients. She begins every project by getting to know her clients’ needs, wants, pet peeves, wish lists, and last but certainly not least the space in question!
She enjoys being immersed in every project she is involved in! It’s really no wonder that since joining the Moda family, Mel has designed her family home’s kitchen a thousand times over! And since buying her first home, one of the first things she and her hubby ever did was design their dream kitchen!
Having grown up surrounded with art, design and craft – it was only natural that she pursued a career in design. In 2015, she graduated with a bachelor in industrial and graphic design on an honours level, and is currently in the process of attaining her qualification in Kitchen Design. Mel feels right at home in the kitchen design industry; she gets a buzz solving spatial problems, and utilises her fanatic obsession for detail so that every project gets installed without a hitch!
When Mel is not designing kitchens, she’s in it – either cooking (or eating)! Regardless, you can always find her in the fluffiest robe with a good ol’ cuppa in the biggest mug possible!
