Leo Liu

General Manager

Leo joined Moda in 2015 as an owner, driven by a love for challenge and diversity. After selling the business, he stayed on as General Manager, continuing to lead with the same passion and commitment. “I believe that I have become a better man through my efforts, failures and successes.”

With a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s in IT, Leo brings strong technical expertise to Moda’s operations—from custom cabinet design and CAD development to improving manufacturing processes and installation methods. His 10 years in corporate roles shaped his understanding of process-driven systems and healthy business culture.

Today, Leo focuses on commercial cabinetry sales, product development, and business sustainability, always guided by his core belief:

Rebecca Cook

Design Consultant

Rebecca brings a passion for design, family living, and customer connection to every part of her role. After relocating with her husband Amos and their three children to be closer to family, Rebecca opened Moda’s Northland showroom, right near the farm where she spent her own childhood holidays, by the beautiful Kai Iwi Lakes.

Rebecca has hands-on experience with renovating character homes, having transformed both a bungalow and a villa in Auckland. Most recently, she completed the design and build of her own coastal family home in Langs Beach, giving her a strong appreciation for practical yet beautiful spaces.

Clients love working with Rebecca throughout the kitchen and cabinetry design process, especially her thoughtful follow-up after installation. As a mum of three, she understands what busy families need, whether it’s functional kitchen layouts, smart storage, or durable finishes that still feel warm and inviting.

Rebecca is currently completing a Diploma in Kitchen Design and regularly attends industry events, staying across the latest materials, trends, and innovations. When she’s not helping clients bring their dream spaces to life, she’s adventuring with her family, camping, fishing, travelling, or baking with the kids in the kitchen.

Jane Fergusson

Sales and Design

Jane loves the design journey; of collaborating with her clients to create beautifully designed and functional spaces that use quality materials and innovative solutions to deliver an outcome for them to love and enjoy. Her design experience has been honed through working alongside architects, joinery manufacturers and great clients on a variety of design projects.

Jane holds a Diploma in Kitchen Design & with her 10+ years’ experience in the industry she qualifies as a Platinum Designer of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bathroom Association)

In her spare time Jane likes to catch up with friends and family & enjoys weekend walks around New Zealand. Plenty of home renovation projects also keeps her busy.

Sam Shang

Sales & Design

Sam’s dream is to design your dream kitchen. He is a young dad and if you meet him, you will find out that he is a person full of PASSION and LOVE. Sam has spent two years studying graphic design and five years working in the kitchen design industry. He has a strong eye to detail and intricate colour matching. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing & cooking.

Krishna Anderson

Living and traveling around Europe for 12 years has opened my eyes to different cultures, their cuisine and having to live with different kitchens to suit each countries lifestyle and the way they prepare and cook food. I love design. I know the importance a beautiful yet functional kitchen can make in your home. As a mother of 6 kids, our kitchen is definitely the heart of our home, it is where we gather as a family every night, it is where we gather with friends, where we share a meal together and create wonderful memories.

Jeff Le Roux

Commercial Sales

Jeff has been designing and supplying kitchens and other cabinetry to residential and commercial clients for over 20 years. Jeff is very detailed and loves the challenge of supplying great design solutions in difficult spaces. Buying a new kitchen requires many choices and the process can be overwhelming. Jeff enjoys simplifying the journey to a new kitchen by unpacking the pros and cons of the many materials and finishes as well as hardware options and how they relate to budget. Jeff is intentional about giving you the best functioning kitchen in a great looking design and within the expected budget.

Sam Ali

Installation Manager

Sam is a very skilled cabinet maker with experience in all areas of residential, commercial and shop fitting. He entered the industry in Fiji for 4 years and following that has had 14 years in New Zealand. Sam has a high standard of installation ensuring all jobs are executed with precision.
Sam participates in many sports and enjoys spending time with his wife and kids.
